Pictures of Our New Place!!

A lot has happened since I last posted. First of all a giant thank you to Janie Franz for being the best guest author I ever hosted!!! While she was a guest on the blog her book became a bestseller and I am thrilled for her. The interview was considered great from so many people my face is a permanent red!!!!:) Seriously, thank you to all the people both on the blog and off the blog who commented and enjoyed the interview. Janie was an excellent guest author to interview!!!

Thank you Claudia. I am very familiar with marketing my blog, but thank you for telling your friends. I always like new readers.:) I hope to see you back here again.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, Congratulations on your new digs. Very swank. I grew up in Stamford (the Cove,) and I don't remember any places quite so lovely flanking the marina and the sound. Of course, it's been years since I've been back that way. I'm glad you found a place that suits your needs so well. I guess we've both been busy. I've missed chatting with you. It's been too long.
ReplyDeleteHi Penny!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to hear from you! Thank you for the comments and this place has been here about 10 years. They keep it in very good shape so it looks almost new.:) I didn't know you grew up here. We are very close to the big homes on the water and I'm hoping to be able to walk along the beach in the sand when it gets warmer.:)
Yes, I have missed our chats too.:) Call in this month for the radio show so we can chat.
The Guys and I are very happy that you found a great place to live Barbara.
ReplyDeleteConnecticut's not so bad. My wife is originally from there. :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Thanks Guys!
ReplyDeleteWe all can't wait to move to a place of our own! The big move out of the smokey house is tomorrow!!! Yeah!!! I will post about the whole thing soon.
Whoops to The Guys Perspective!!
ReplyDeleteForgot to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all spent the time telling your significant others how much you care for them.:) Even in the chaos and depression of our recent life my husband and I got to share at least one moment this morning. Moving is always hard on everyone, but I think it's worse for guys. You always have to know where your stuff is. Women usually carry most of our important stuff with us.:)
Hi Barbara:
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled you have found a new home. It looks like quite the gem.
Best wishes!
Warm regards,
Donna
Thanks, Donna!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to finally having a real place to live.:) But it's going to be a long time before we get everything set up the way it should be. :)
Your new place looks great. The only reason I'd ever leave Manhattan would be to be near the water in a place like that. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHi Pat,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. Yes, I am now in my new apt, though I'm only here to do my radio show today. I should be going back to the hotel much earlier, because snow is predicted, but I have free long distance here and my show is one and a half hours long.:)
